What does “Volkybaru” mean?
Volkybaru® is a registered trademark since 2023.
“Volky” is how people in Puerto Rico call the VW Beetle and “baru” is the last two syllables from the car brand Subaru. It’s a made-up word that basically means a VW Beetle with a Subaru swapped engine!
What does Volkybaru Sell?
Volkybaru specializes in providing ABS interior panels for Classic Volkswagens and apparel. In the near future, we will offer new products designed by us.
I see everywhere that the panels are made from ABS. What is ABS?
Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene is a very tough, very durable plastic. The material has been selected due that it is easy to machine, is waterproof, will not crack when bent and aesthetics.
Do I need to purchase any tools or hardware to mount the ABS panels on my VW?
Everything is included with your purchase.
How fast can Volkybaru ship my order?
Normal processing time is around 3-5 business days for items that are in stock.
Is international shipping available?
Yes! Please contact us for international orders. We will gladly reply with a quote. Just let us know which product you would like.
What shipping method is used?
We have a carrier agreement with UPS to ensure our customers are provided with the best shipping possible at the lowest cost possible. For the Continental United States (CONUS) we normally use Second Day Air at affordable prices. To ensure no surprises on shipments to CONUS, we have established a standard shipping cost on most of our products.
Can I provide my own shipping label?
Yes, you can provide your own shipping label or we can quote other shipping services if you prefer. Just contact us and we will answer your questions at our earliest opportunity.
Can you combine shipping?
Yes, we can combine shipping on multiple items but the standard shipping cost may vary depending on quantities and delivery location.
Where is Volkybaru located?
Volkybaru® is an online business based in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Being an online store help us manage costs to keep our prices as competitive as possible and the quality of our products as high and detailed as they can be. We could deliver locally in Puerto Rico to the various VW meets or car shows if you give us some short notice. This way we could receive your order, validate availability and set it aside. We do not have an actual walk-in brick and mortar retail shop with staff serving you. We do offer online customer service where we can answer your individual questions as needed..
How can I track my order.
A Tracking Number is provided with all our shipments, we will send the same via email to your preferred address.
